Default How do I upload images?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I'm a noobie to Blackberry, I've a 7100g and would like to know if it's possible to upload images onto the handset using the desktop software that was supplied with the phone? If it is could any of you let me know how it's done pls.

Also I think that the phone will be set up to receive mails from my work address, if this is done will I be able to receive mails from an alternative (personal) mail address as well and if so do any of you have any recommendations/tips to the best place to get such a service and get it set up??

Thx

Arrgghh - OK, for the first time today. Although there are only 6.02 million threads on this, here's another one. You can not upload ringtones from your desktop to your BlackBerry. Upload them to a web page, and point your BB browser to the web based ringtones.

Arrggh2 - There is something called the BlackBerry Web Client (also now known as the BlackBerry Internet Service). It uses a web based client to collect information from your POP3 (personal) e-mail accounts and push them to the BlackBerry.

There are loads of threads on these two topics. There are also several great FAQs at the top of each forum.

Good luck with your new BB...

I think we could talk to RIM and get them to actually put a boldface note in the 7xxx manual saying "You cannot load images or ringtones onto your blackberry using the supplied desktop manager."
