The red looks GOOOOOOOD! Not maroon, not light red...RED!!! The black keys are a nice accent.

Very nice.

I think unlimited TeleNav is $10 month. GREAT service.

Yes it is supposed to replace the 8300. Even if it wasn't, who would buy the 8300 now that the 8310 has an extra feature (GPS) for the same price?

I showed my boyfriend a pic of the Curve last night (for some reason he was thinking it looked like an iPhone?!) and now he said he wants one too! LOL! He's on T-Mobile though so I told him if he gets one it'll have to be the 8320.

numetheus, Good question! My instinct tell me that 8310 will be same price ($449.XX) as the 8300 does. But I might be wrong.. let wait and see it launch on Oct 11th. ;)

Well ... it does look like the iPhone .... but smaller, with the addition of a keyboard, more rounded corners, thicker, smaller screen, and a darker grey! OH .. and the lettering that says BlackBerry.

Ohhhhh ... who am I kidding! It looks nothing like an iphone!! lol

Wow. Thanks for the scoop. I just called my local store and the dude said he'd hold one (RED!) for me. How cool is that?

I am not into colored phones and trust me, the red looks good. It is not that fake red or the raspberry red like the Pearl. It is real friggin red with black keys.. If I had not gotten hooked up today with a 8820 I might have gone for it... Heck, I might go for it down the road anyways...

You must have some good luck. I just called my local AT&T to ask to hold me one, they told me "No holding, First Come, First Served", I will be there when
the doors open...

We'll see. Maybe he was just saying that to blow me off. However, I may take your lead and be there early Thursday too.

I work for AT&T and i've already got dibs on one of the three from the first shipment we receive. I'm getting the red. Hell I used to carry a pink razor :X Takes a REAL man to carry something like that....lol. I think the red is stylish yet professional looking at the same time. Although I have been envious of you TMO guys with the titanium...so maybe i'll get both.

I have an 8700, 7100, 8800, 8820, 8300 (curve), and 8100 (pearl, in red and black)...i just can't get away from using my 8800 series more then the curve. It's just a better built device as far is the feel of it goes. The curve, even though it's an AMAZING phone, feels cheaply made and i think it is (that's why people have the dust starfield problems and all). IF they took all the entertainment features from the curve (camera, media player, speaker quality, etc...) and combined them with the 8820 AND made it 3G I would NEVER EVER purchase another cellphone until they upgrade networks again. Unfortunately, it'll never happen, which is why i have just about every good blackberry made. Right now i'm going back and forth between the curve and the 8820 just because it's nice to have the wifi when i'm over seas and i don't wanna rack up an insane data bill, because WiFi is EVERYWHERE in Europe. I also like the black housing on the 8820 vs the 8800. :D

I'll post pictures when I get them in. I am half and half on if i'm going to just go ahead and get both colors, but i probably will knowing the tech nerd i am :(

That launch data sheet for the 11th of this month seems the most official answer we have for this.

Yeah, sorry, but I can't get anything better than an AT&T store manager emailing me the launch sheet they received in their notification email!

Sooo ... since the date thing seems to be cleared up, at least for now, does anyone know what the pricing is going to be?

I've heard in more than one place that pricing will be the same as the 8300. Does anyone know that for a fact?
