This is great! Glad you developed a holster so quickly. I'm really looking forward to rubberized hard case and holster.

So it sounds like this will allow the BB to know it's holstered? so all that functionality will work?

Yes...all of our Blackberry holsters work with RIM's sleeper function.

Thanks

Default Durability of Seidio Holster?

I'm looking to get the 8300 soon and was hoping that RIM would make an OEM plastic holster.
I currently have an 8100 and bought a bunch of Seidio products, including the plastic clip similar to this one. I assume that the functionality that lets the holster rotate (partially) is like this one.
If so then I believe Seidio really needs to improve on that design, as the structure (on mine) that provides for the position holding is completely worn out (the holster freely swings fore and aft when attached to my belt).
This is after only approximately 3 months, if that.

Seidio,
How long was this supposed to last considering normal usage?

Certain batch of our holster we shipped before did have this problem. We have identified the root cause and corrected the problem.

With the current new design, it should last for a long time. All the holsters, including BB8300 holster we are shipping now come with this new design.
