I received my 8300 locked to o2 yesterday at 3 pm. It was not Scancom's fault. They were a pleasure to deal with and exceedlingly helpful. I will buy from them again. Customs had trouble reading/locating the IMEI #!. I am now waiting for the unlock code which ordered on Friday when I first got the IMEI. Monday was a holiday in Canada so apparently there is a delay in getting the codes. I was told this. I await the codes.
Some immediate observations. Quality is as good as any bb before and maybe better. Feels nice in the hand. Keyboard is usable but time will tell. Screen is breathtaking - like looking at HDTV for the first time. Vinyl pocket comes in the o2 box and I have an OEM pearl like holster. I await my unlock code to give more of a report.

I took the plunge and ordered from scancom late last night. Probably around 6am UK time. I'm a wee disappointed (mostly cause I just want to get this phone in my hands) but didn't receive any tracking info from them today. Emailed them through ebay and no response either. Hopefully I'll get some info tomorrow.
