Default downloading service books?

Please Login to Remove!

i just got a blackberry. i have family shared plan with simply everything plan. this should include internet, from what operator told me. when i try to get online through my browser, i get this message "your device does not currently have any browser configuration service book entries"

i cant get online through phone to down load service books. is there somewhere were i can download and transfer to my phone from computer?

Unsure of how Sprint plans work, but if you have the correct plan the service books are downloaded by doing the following on your phone:

Settings>Options>Advanced Options>Host Routing Table>menu key>Register Now. You should get a message saying, "registration sent" and receive an email saying "you are now registered on the wireless network...".

Once this is completed you may need to pull the battery and place it back in as well.

You can also check on Service Books by going into Settings>Options>Advanced Options>Service Books.

If this does not work your phone is either screwed up, or your service is not setup correctly.

alright, well just to confirm i have a blackberry curve 8330 Sprint. i followed the first steps and when i got to host routing table there was no menu key after to press.

second, when i got to service books there was nothing in the option to click. anyother suggestions?

menu key = on keyboard. It is the one with the dots to the left of the trackball.
