At the moment I'm missing calls because voicemail is not set up. Please can someone tell me how to do it and how to record a message. Thanks.

Voicemail is nothing to do with the phone, its a service provided by your mobile network provider. Usually the phone number is 123 or 121 or something like that. once you ring that number you'll have a menu system to create a new greeting message.

Thanks. When it asked for the phone number to access voicemail, I typed in my own phone number. How do I change that? Every time I press voicemail now, it's just dialling my own number.

That number should have been pre-programmed into the phone you received from your carrier. However, if you're using a device that came from another carrier you will most likely need to program in your particular carrier's voicemail access number.

On my 8320 here is how I would do that:

I bring up the phone application like I'm going to dial a number and press the Menu key. Select Options. Then select Voice Mail. Enter in the Access Number then press the Menu key and select Save.
