Love the 8310 and all its features, but the wifi, OS upgrades, and increased muscle has me sold. I will be upgrading to a Bold and passing the 8310 to my wife (which she is excited about).

I plan on getting the bold as soon as i can. I cannot wait for it. The nokia e71 gave it a little competition but i realized that the specs and basically the same thing but the keyboard on the bold looks to bed a lot better.

I'm in the early part of a Bell contract so I'll wait and see what the iPhone vs. BBerry situation is like in another 2 years

Hanging on to my Curve for now. The Javelin may turn my head once it launches, though.

I wants it!

I got a silver Curve from at&t when it launched last year. Used that for six months then got myself a red Curve in January. It's basically been my daily driver phone for 13 months now though I've had many other phones to use on the weekends in between because I am a phone whore.

I am fully ready for a new incarnation of BB and believe I'll be able to get an upgrade when it is released.

Now, I will hang onto my Curve for a little while (a week, maybe) to make sure I like the Bold. I suspect I may not love the width (you would be shocked what a difference two or three millimeters make when you have smallish hands) but I think given the upgrades it offers I believe I will likely suck up and deal. The Thunder and the Javelin hold no appeal for me.

Bold isn't enough of an upgrade, but if I were looking for a new phone I would wait for it.

I'm hoping for a combo touchscreen and keypad version. Sometimes I just want to tap the screen. Like the calculator. I just need the basic keys and I just want to be able to touch the screen. Would be way faster so that I would actually use it.

Or a better browser. 4.5 is pretty good capability-wise but just a little more tweaking is needed. Some websites like Citibank don't allow older browsers to log-in.

I agree completely
I would like the increase memory and functions but I am going to wait.
Also can not afford to pay full price

Not going to switch, for at least 2 years and 10.5 months, lol. Maybe by that time there will be something new, interesting, and different on the BB market.
Later,
J

Yeah, Bold for me too. Thought I might have to wait a while and get one off fleabay. Spoke to bloke in charge of firm's phone/IT contracts-should be getting his iphone 3g today, said to me give it a couple of months, and he'll see about getting me a Bold on an upgrade.
Also to a previous comment: $4 a gallon! Try U.K. We're almost $10 a gallon

I'll see how much they go for on eBay, but I'm probably just going to wait for the Javelin.

I second that. I usually wait at least a year before upgrading a phone. My curve is only about a month old.
