Default Are you going to switch from the Curve to the Bold?

Please Login to Remove!

I won't have the money for the bold but was wondering if anyone was planning on switching. What are the main differences between the two?

Only if I win it in the forum contest. That would be the only way my wife would allow me to get a new BlackBerry. My 8310 isn't but about 2 months old now.

I like to stay firmly behind the cutting edge. Things are always cheaper just a few months later.

Unfortunately, not everyone has the option to pay "Retail Price" for a recently released device... hence the term "how can I upgrade?"

I'll absolutely be getting the Bold, especially since a lot of internet sources say its going to be 150-200 bucks! I paid 300 for the curve!

Advantages of the Bold: better screen, processor twice as fast, GPS and 3G, 4.6 OS.

Ill be getting the Bold, and then thatever the first good Android phone T-Mobile puts out is.

Not me.

Bold looks way too big. I already gripe about the size of the Curve compared to my 8100 but that's the price I have to pay for a full keyboard and larger screen.

Put the 624mhz processor in the curve and I will be happy.

I will go look at them, but then I'll repocket the $$$ and remember that my Curve is good enough, smart enough, and doggone it, I like it.

Just got my Curve for Father's Day to replace a 8700. The Bold looks cool but I can't keep getting phones every few months with gas $4 per gallon.

I took out my contract on my Blackberry 8800 in Mar 06, i sold it at xmas 07, and took out a data only traff for 12/month, and paid 129.99 for a 8320 handset,

The 8800 was then sold on ebay, and its SIM was put in the 8320..

my upgrade is due next week.. so my 6 month old 8320... will probably follow the same fate as my 8800..

unless i sell the 9000 on ebay, pocket the and then upgrade my 8320 at xmas to a 9000...

I plan on getting the Bold as soon as my Rogers rep tells me they're available

I'll just give my 8310 to one of my staff who still has an 8700.
Do I need it? No. Do I want it? Hell yeah!
