invisible shield my choice. put this on my 8310 6 months ago and recently had to exchange for a new phone under warranty w/ att. called invisible shield and told them about having to swap phones. scott in customer service said no problem. gave him my original order number and a cc for s&h $3.35 and sending me a whole new install kit. yeah the initial cost was more but this was worth the $$ in my opinion. after i peeled off the old skins, ask a coworker if he could tell the difference between the old phone and the replacement already received. he picked the old phone as the new replacement! the shield is great in my opinion.

Default Best Skins Ever Total Body Skin

I just finished applying the Total Body Skin from BSE to my BB Curve 8310. The smaller thin pieces for the sides are a little tricky to apply. But all in all it was a fun experience. The phone looks really good and from a distance the skin is hardly visible. I don't know much about the Invisble Shield, but the BSE skin doesn't look bad at all. Thanks all for your responses in favor of BSE. It helped me make a decision after being in two minds for some time.

I did the same about a week+ ago. I don't know if I would call it "fun". I'm pretty picky so it was almost nerve-wracking for me! :D I'm still getting used to the new "edges" that I feel on the device after applying the skin, but man... the BSE is tough. The adhesion is amazing and I've rubbed keys on the skin (starting lightly on the back to test it) to show friends how tough it is... Give it a wipe and all the marks are gone...

Self healing plastics are the future!

If it does get a nick on the cover, you can send it back and have them replace it.

I wouldn't recommend the whole body as it is prone to getting dust under the small pieces and can be difficult to get on there perfectly, but the screen protector is a must have.

Also, pay for shipping, Free shipping is available but it will take 2 weeks to get to you.
does the invisible sheild go over the buttons?

Good thread; and all I am now is undecided.

One thing I do know, for putting on these things is based off an old film drying trick.

Use your bathroom: to avoid dust particles settling, run a hot shower for a minute; enough to get the room humid, but not super-moist, avoiding too much condensation. Keep the door shut while you apply the screen protector, and your application will be a lot more dust free.

Another question, which is better for fingerprints on the screen? Does one screen protector show prints less than another? The invisible shield says that it has an orange peel type surface, which would make me believe it does a better job at not showing the prints?

Any feedback is appreciated..

I just upgraded my Pearl to a Curve and before I did I ordered an Invisible Shield (screen only) so I could put it on as soon as the Curve arrived. I had used this product on my Pearl for a year. It has to be indestructible! No peeling, no scratches! I highly recommend it.
