I heard cingular is getting it, because I dropped my 8700 pretty hard. Since I'm not interested in the pearl, or the 8800 they are releasing it next week because I am in need of a new gadget. According to my sources.

I could see T-Mobile passing on the 8800 for a while (or entirely) and going for this. They seem to be more "prosumer" oriented than other carriers.

Well if the high bidder wins the intro of the next new Blackberry, I got to bet on AT&T/Cingular! I know, jump off a bridge!

Why would Cingular get this, it's basically an upgrade to the 8800?

It's not an upgraded 8800, what an earth would make you think that? It's just another device with different features using a full qwerty keyboard.

I hope TM does get this first, I'm not so ready (this spring) to give up my Cingular Pearl yet anyway, and "the waiting will be the hardest part".

Hopefully Verizon gets this at some point, and without crippling it to death. No one else around where I live has good coverage, and all my friends and family have Verizon, so it's cheaper to have the mobile to mobile calling

The 8300 WILL be released on the Cingular network before it is released on the Tmobile network.

When this will happen, I am not allowed to say.

I'm grasping at the straw of hope that says it's coming to T-Mobile since they passed (so far) on the 8800. I'm also hoping they deliver it with WiFi and a camera that does video.

If you're under an NDA, aren't you supposed to deny knowledge of its existance also?
