Ok.. I've downloaded this update twice and both times when installing it goes through the process and tells me a bunch of stuff is missing. Then when I go to uninstall it cause it didn't work properly it tells me some sort of .msi file is missing to uninstall it... Help?

I just entered the pw 10 times in order to do this, but now, after it wipes the device twice, it actually deletes everything (says "wiping, scrubbing, etc." and it's doing it SIX times, but then it comes up with the main AT&T logo theme.

I'd be happy if this had resolved my problem (browser not working), but it has NOT been. :(. Service packs work, so the email part, and every now and then, there's a OS message exception something or other...???

All this under 5.0.0.93...................wtf;...all previously installed 3rd party are still installed and working, but now there is NO browser, NO MediaNet browser, NO HotSpot browser.......I deleted the 5.0.0.93 from my system, and installed 4.6.0.266, which I should have stayed with in the first place.

All this scrubbing (I just did it a 2nd time) were in vein. Oh, now it says "Scrubbing internal device memory"...........I dunno. I guess I'm looking for the dreaded 507 error...

Help please! :(

Hello I need help here. I just got my BB 8320 today. I check the option and my data as follows:

# Applications: 4.2.2.184

I went to the link: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...0hJoC1+f+uiw**

But found 3 types of download. Which one should I download??

You have to download the exact name in the first post...

8320EastAsia_PBr4.5.0_rel174_PL2.7.0.92_A4.5.0.124 _Indosat.exe

Follow the instructions, in the first post also.... And you will have the best 4.5 for 8320 until now!!

GoodLuck!

BTW.. Welcome!!!

John do you have any idea what sort of timescale until v5 is out?? i misss these little updates.. they rarely may any difference what so ever lol... however it does seem to free up some memory that gets gobbled up doing the upgrade process.. for some reason when you install/uninstall apps the memory never really seems to come back to what it was.. i'm down to about 10megs now after a batt pull :( but dont really have anything more than usual installed lol.

Unhappy connection plug to bb

sometimes i have hard time plugging the connection from bb to usb. For some reason, plugging to my bb, icon doesnt show black plug. It doesnt notice connection when I run desktop manager. I wonder why? Maybe bb connector on side is somewhat damaged? Have anyone of you had experience like this before? If so, why? I try to figure it what is wrong.

Possibly the BB is already charged. The black plug disappears if it's full.

Or the computer's or BB's USB port is messed up. Maybe the cord. Somewhat unusual to hear about it partially working.

Does anybody have problems with the phonebook names syncing (bluetooth) with your vehicles? On both my vehicles, it only transfers the phone#'s now (no names) and did with the last build too.

Completely optional to upgrade. If you're having problems with UMA calling then it might help. Otherwise, sticking with what you have is fine.

Lots of older versions of the OS are here, only the latest release is stuck at the top.

thanks for the reply, i was just curious as to the benefits of upgrading the firmware, other than the UMA, which i doubt il see the benefit from at home, as im on VIRGIN cable here.

are we talking different menu structure, speed improvements??
