So, I don't know if i'm willing to put another two hours only to be disappointed. I will wait till I gather more info, but the battery thing is something I haven't tried, and I tried alot! 4.5 just doesn't like my 8310.

Just out of curiosity, is this supposed to take a loooooong time? Everything went smoothly on my AT&T 8310 until now, and it has been on "Connecting to device" for about 20 minutes. The progress bar is slowly creeping its way to full. Is this normal behavior?

No.

Default battery

alright so this is the same os i downloaded last week that my battery only lasted for about a couple hours i also posted about that yesterday but i figured this is a better place to ask what could be wrong. the battery isnt draining because of any third party apps because i took all of them off and i let it sit in standby and it only lasted a couple hours

need some help. i recently got a vodafone 8310 from a friend. i didnt get a user guide or a CD which i believe is needed to install that Desktop Manager. Its on 4.2, and i want to upgrade it to this version 4.5. I saw the instructions on the first page.

But to do that do i need to have Desktop Manager installed? coz i dont have that yet.

Who ever has this phone if you could send me a private messege because i have few more questions as i'm new with blackberries. and a bit lost with it

many thanks.

Angry Tried to update now all I have is a white screen

I am new to this site and have read/searched for help to fix my problem. I tried updating my BB 8310 and got an error on something about the ipd file. After that my Device Manager will not work and my phone has a blank white screen with a black selection bar, but no text. I tried soft reset, and tried rerunning the loader.exe with no success. Any help is SUPER appreciated.
