What the wonk happened to Opera Mini?

Apparently I had an old version of opera mini on my curve and when I recently upgraded to my 9700 it was acting a little funny after upgrading to the newest OS. So I downloaded the mini 5 beta and it did not play very nice with the 9700 at all and I decided to uninstall it and go back to opera mini 4... except it looks COMPLETELY different. It must be an upgraded version but none of the quick keys are the same and i cant even figure out how to zoom in. anyone else having a problem with the 9700 and opera mini 4?
