Default Blackbery App Store

Please Login to Remove!

I have been trying to get the app store on my bold, but am unable to go to the site. I get an error every time I try to go to m.berrystore.com saying server is currently unable to handle your request due to a temporary overloading or maintenance of the server. How can I get the app store?

Welcome to the forums!
They are probably pretty overloaded with requests. As another poster suggested, you may want to wait a bit before trying again.

Try getting a Storm...then you can use app store...right now the BlackBerry Apps store is just made for the Storm...they're gonna have one for the 4.6 and 4.5 BlackBerrys

I was told BB wasn't launching app store until Spring '09. See link below:

Wirelessly posted (you serious Clark?)

It seems to be working on my Bold just fine, I downloaded the application but I haven't downloaded any apps yet.

Installed but when I ran it I got some exception errors.

I'll just chalk it up to the app being beta.... oh well.

I have it on my Bold and Curve. I'm able to download apps and everything seems to work just fine.

Let clear a few things up.

BerryStore.com is a private company owned by Fred Potter that is a portal for application downloads.

BlackBerry Application Center is run by the carriers. So far Verizon on the Storm. This includes things the carrier wants you to have access to.

BlackBerry Application Store launches next year and is run by RIM and will offer applications like the iPhone app store does.

Well i do understand the fact that "Berrystore" and "BlackBerry Apps Center" is two different thing but it sounds like mckinneycm have the new BlackBerry Apps Center....it seems like he had a beta version or something...but now is clear that he dosen't plus is not even out.
