Default internet service deactivated or suspended

Please Login to Remove!

Hi. I have a corporatly owned BB 9900, just delivered. Replacing my 9700. IT transfered all my settings, including my personal email accoung (gmail). When I tried to access it, I realized it was not active. So I went to setup, then Email. I noticed it had 2 accounts setup. When I clicked the first time it asked for my bb account login, which I had setup on my old 9700. It accepted the info, then told me I was suspended or deactivated. Since this is a corporate phone, IT doesn't support gmail (though not forbidden) and ATT won't talk to me. Now, anytime I try to acess the email setup, I get that message. Can I delete the account and start over? Ideas? Thanks!

You didn't say why AT&T won't talk to you. If it's because you are not authorized, talk to the account adminstrator in your company (the person who pays the bill and is authorized to make changes to the account) and have them call AT&T. If you had the ability to access gmail on your phone previously, then it's probably an oversight that it's not possible now. Either that or there is a problem, in which case you still need to be authorized to call for support.

You have obviously never worked in corporate america. Our help desk is in India. When I sent them a ticket they misunderstood and entered that I wanted to delete an app.

I have no idea who pays the bill. ATT tried calling an authorized person but no answer. My company probably has 15k BBs globally. There is literally noone internally to help me.

Well, that sucks. It sounds like a rip-off from dilbert. I guess you have three choices. 1) Track down whomever in your company has authority over the account and explain the problem. If AT&T tried to call the authorized person, maybe they will give you the name. 2) Grovel to AT&T, but you probably tried that already. 3) Give up.

...or option 4....

1) Take your Bold - put it in your hand
2) Gently place it on hard ground (street)
3) Get your vehicle
4) Run the Bold over many times until it appears to be completely flattened and broken
5) Go back home pour a good stiff drink just and call it a day!

That's going to give you much more satisfaction than options 1-3...because it sounds like no one there will help you...and option 4 will just feel good!!!
