Default Re: The iPad is (NOT) Garbage

I actually bought an iPod touch (4th gen) with the retina display to replace my first gen iphone (which i had been using as an ipod/gaming platform). One app that is pretty cool is called Pulse, which is a news aggregator (RSS I assume), and one of the biggest annoyances with it is that I can't watch any of the videos in the news feeds (like engadget, techcrunch, gizmodo, etc), thanks to the lack of Flash support.

When I even THINK about getting an iPad, I am immediately turned off by this limitation of flash video playback, and I lose interest in the iPad again (and I would consider myself something of an Apple fanboy - we are an all-Mac computer household, and own numerous iPods).

Video demos I have seen of the BB Playbook and the iPad (side by side) make the Playbook look like a good competitor to the iPad!
