Default How to change the welcome screen on 8310?

Please Login to Remove!

Whenever turning the BB on, it shows me a screen with an old carrier image

I have wiped the OS using jl cmder , loaded the new one. But still when turning off and then on that screen appears, any idea how to change it?

Thanks.

It is burned into the firmware and cannot be changed.

Not completely true but for kicks and giggles we'll just keep saying that it isn't possible.

Yes do share. I imagine it is possible but not too practical given that there's no real benefits of changing the welcome screen.

Well many things you have done on your BB are not of real benefit after all, its because we want it that way. If someone knows, let us know.

It isn't legal. The software used to do this is illegal pirated software. It is against forum policy to discuss it.

Furthermore, if you don't know what you're doing, you could end up bricking your device.

What?
So, if the software is illegal pirated, then it has to be somewhere in a legal unpirated environment --- do you all know where that is?
