Does BES have both the CDO and MAPi32 .DLL files normally installed with the server?

I know you need to download and install the Collaboration Data Objects onto Exchange (when you run BES and Exchange separately).

I have a client telling me their problem is when someone recieved a meeting invite on their device that they can't accept nor change it. Rogers BES support says that the CDO and MAPI32 files on both BES and Exchange must be the same version or this problem happens.

In this case both their BES and Exchange run on separate servers.

What do you guys say?

BES has 6.5.7654.12

Exchange has 6.5.7651.61

I just noticed that Microsoft released a new CDO on 4/27/2011 its version is 6.5.8211.0; would installing a much newer version on Exchange hose BES even more?

BES has a higher version which should be fine.

6.5.7654.12 is what I am running on my my BES 4.1.7 for Exchange 2003 SP2.

I use ESM with windows updates applied.
