Default Unable to delete user from BAS 5.0.2.28

Please Login to Remove!

Interestingly, im not able to delete this user form our BAS
It says "The request could not be completed."
how 2 fix this?

Pls note we are on Microsoft Bpos, and not on Sql Database or watever

So your Mail Server is in the Microsoft Cloud and the BES is in your company, is that correct?

yes we use exchange
but the BAS 5.0.28 server is hosted on the micrsoft cloud

To verify if BlackBerry smartphone user accounts are queued for deletion, perform the following steps:

- Under BlackBerry Solution Management, expand User.

- Click Manage Users.

- In the Search for users menu, click Advanced search.

- In the Email criteria section of the Advanced Search, select True in the Queued removal of BlackBerry services drop-down box.

- Click Search.



BlackBerry smartphone users who are pending a deletion, but the process has not completed, will be displayed.



The BlackBerry smartphone user account can be purged from the database or removed immediately from the BlackBerry service by performing the following steps:




- Click the Display name of the BlackBerry smartphone user that is displayed when searching for BlackBerry smartphone users that are Queued removal of BlackBerry services.

- Click Immediate removal of BlackBerry services.

nope she is not Q'ed 4 removal
I can see her profile on BAS
when i try to hit delete, it says "Request could not be completed"

I can remove others fine, so its not issue with BAS
Pls advice?

Then the only other way I know of is to kill the user in the DB directly:

1. Open command prompt
2. Type "osql -E"
3. 1>use BESMgmt
4. 2>go
5. 1>delete from userconfig where mailboxsmtpaddr=''user@domain.com''
6. 2>go

Can you do that in the cloud solution or not?

i will contact microsoft to have his guy removed
its hosted on their cloud
