A new version is now available (at http://www.bbscanner.com/download) which allows you to configure alerts.

You can have the app notify you when any scanner has more than a certain number of listeners (like say, 250) to alert you when something big must be going on somewhere.

You can also setup alerts for individual feeds to be notified when the number of people listening to them exceed a number you specify.

The creator/operator of LiveATC.net will not allow his feeds to be included in BBScanner's directory. He's working on (having someone write) an app that will play LiveATC.net feeds.

You *can* add individual LiveATC.net feeds to BBScanner as "custom" scanner feeds and listen to them that way.

I've just released a new beta version (as opposed to the most recent non-beta version) that should work on phones running OS version 4.2.1 and later (previously you had to be running OS 4.5 or later).

I'd like to hear from people running OS versions 4.2.1 and 4.3 to confirm that this latest version does in fact run on them without any problems. I verified that it works fine in the 4.2.1 and 4.3 simulators but I'd like to hear from people that try it out on actual phones.

The latest beta version, 1.7.6.12, can be installed OTA from http://ota.bbscanner.com/1.7.6.12

Thanks,
Gordon
