I deleted two apps from my bb today, one was flickr and the other was a weather one. After it asked me to restart it, I did and then turned it back on. And this message appeard-

Uncaught exception:
DSSMA: invalid state(5): 14

The problem is that I can't view any text messages. The icon appears but when I open the folder, no texts are showing. I can send them out but that also doesn't show that in the folder.

Any thoughts or ideas?

I thought Flickr was a service book. Delete the service book. Options - service book and when it pops backup after a restart it may be clean in your system.

ok so i am having this same problem (with that same message popping up) but mine only happens when i try to view my SMS OUTBOX. As far as i know i did not do anything new to my phone so i do not know why this has started happening, please help!! I tried to do what akosnitzky said to do but when i g under options service book is not there
