Default 97xx for CDMA carriers?

Please Login to Remove!

Anybody think it'll happen? The Tour2 makes me think RIM may skip the 97xx for CDMA, which would be a shame. But it sure sounds like a model I'd like to try on my beloved Sprint. 9730 in 6 months, yea or nay?

With the Tour 2, I agree its unlikely they will have a 9730.

Isn't it pretty much the same as the 9700.

yes, but the '30' part means it's for CDMA carriers.

I think Zerog46 meant that the Tour 2 and 9700 are pretty much the same.
Similiar form factor, both with 3G, wi-fi, trackpad.

Wirelessly posted (Lets Go Canes!)

9650 I think will be next in this arena.

Ya'll just got Storm 2, I'm sure CDMA carriers wont be seeing the 97xx for some time. Sorry :(

The Tour is a little larger than the 9700, but not enough to warrant a 9730, I wouldn't be surprised if their next new device after the Tour 2 was a 9130 since its a more distinct form factor.

Sprint didn't get neither of the Storms and it's CDMA.
