hi there!

I´m totally new with balckberry and I´m learning little by little.

But...I have a problem and I was wondering if you could help me.

the contrast of the screen is kind of dark and I dunno what to do. I configurate the contrast to 100% and just sometimes it looks very bright! But then, suddenly the screen´s light face down a bit and remains always the same...

so I only see the 100 % bright contrast when i open an application or sth like that...but then it faces down and It´s very annoying...please...help!

I also tried to install facebook application...I downloaded but it always give me an error and I cannot use the application :(

I think you are seeing the automatic dimming -- if you are talking about brightness and not contrast -- with detected changes in ambient light. You can disable that in screen/keyboard options.

What is the error message you get with the facebook app?
