Anyone know if I can make the vibration's louder? I keep missing calls and texts because I can barely hear the vibrations unlike the Curve.
Thanks
No not really. Its hardware not software so there's nothing u can do about making it louder. BUT, if u just got the Tour, then usually it takes a little bit of time for the vibration to "break in"

I am not sure what it looks like for a blackberry, but with a sidekick, the vibrator is a simple tiny motor with half "flywheel", so when the motor runs, the flywheel, being half, spins and vibrates. There is no way to "increase or decrease" it unless I guess the device is able to vary the speed of the motor to give a different vibration sense.
Anybody know how BB vibrates? same technique? I saw a number of photos of bb disassembled but I realized I have not noticed anything related to the vibrating component.
Why would you use the vibrate for the sound?? Just pick a quiet tone and lower the volume some if you don't want it to be loud. The point of vibrate it to FEEL it, not hear it. In my opinion, a quieter vibrate would be considered an improvent.

LOL...Have to laugh at the notion of making a vibration "louder". You could record the sound of a......oh nevermind, just do as suggested and find a quiet tone that will alert you but not disturb others.
