Default tour loose battery cover FIX

Please Login to Remove!

hey guys, so like me , im sure there are plenty of people out there who have the first generation tours that have the loose battery door..

mine had been driving me insane, until I came across a video from a friend of mine..

basically all you need to do is simply apply 12 identical pieces of scotch tape, the clear Christmas wrapping tape to be specific, piled on top of each other on top of your battery..

slide the door back on and viola! your door will feel more sturdy, and it wont move around..

hope this helps guys

All it took for me is a single small electrical tape on the bottom of the case and slide the cover in.

A portion of a standard business card generally does the trick as well.

I haven't heard about 12 pieces of tape. I have heard about the business card thing working. I still need to try that.

Take it back, I did. Its not my fault it became loose over a few weeks, I didn't drop it or anything like that. I got a new back door from Verizon for free. You can also buy the doors at various websites with BB supplies for $10 if you Google a bit.
Good luck and let me know why they think it became loose anyway?? I never got an answer.
