Not only that, but my speakerphone comes on, and also goes into a landscape version of the call screen, which DOES NOT have a speakerphone/handset button. From that point I can't turn off the speakerphone. In an attempt to get the speakerphone off without ending the call, if I hit the back button, I get a prompt asking me if I want to return to the home screen... when I say yes it doesn't do anything. But if I shake the phone and tap the screen like a caveman it occasionally goes back to handset mode. Right now I'm running .90 but I think it did it also on .75 It just did it 5 times right now, but I'm laying down so that's probably making a difference.
This happens all the time when my wife uses my phone. It never happens to me though. I think I saw a program somewhere that would lock the screen when on a call. Do not remember what it is though, but I think I need to get it.
There is an app on getjar.com called cell avant which locks your phone during calls but you are still able to unlock it and do other things during the call if you want. It works well for the storm i had that annoying problem too and this thing is great for it.

I downloaded TalkLock a while back and works great. Only downside is that the app is always running and shows up if you do an app switch (hold BB button).
