4 days ago my phone got wet as it was in my pocket whilst I was walking in heavy rain. Since then I've taken the battery and sim out and have dried everything. The phone still works fine but every now and again half the screen goes shaded and there's a buzzing/humming noise coming from the back of the phone. What's wrong with the phone? And is it fixable? Thanks in advance

You did not dry it long enough, and it is not fixable. You will need to buy a new device.

Thanks for the reply. Will the phone get worse over the next few days or will it be ok as it is as I don't have the money to buy a new phone straight away?

It will probably get worse over time. Water and electronics do not mix. As dc said, time to buy a new device.

Try putting it in some dry rice for a few days. It may help with a little luck, but as Dubdub said it might need replacement.

Rice doesn't help unless it's done immediately after the device gets wet. The battery also has to be removed immediately.

Agreed but who knows maybe if the OP gets lucky. Some of the saves i've seen defy logic
