Default 8330 & Motorola S9 - not loud enough

Please Login to Remove!

Just purchased an S9 (non-HD) from ebay ($20!) and now realize that the volume is not as loud as the regular plug-in headset. Is there anyway to make it louder (I tried using the volume keys on both the device and headset) so I'm assumming it's on Max.

Is this an issue for other S9 owners or all bluetooth devices in general?

Thanks.

Can anyone confirm if volume is not an issue then? I've never used BT headsets but I'd expect it to have close to or the same level of sound as the wired headset. Thanks.

I use the S9 (original) with an 8830 and I can say that if I'm not careful, the volume can be painful.

Does the volume buttons work on the S9? Do you hear it increase/decrease when pressed? Not to suggest error, but you are pressing the buttons that control volume and not the ones on the other side? You do have to make sure that you feel the little "pop" when pressed.

I would guess that it is paired correctly or you would not hear from them at all.

I'm a total Dork - I tried the buttons once and thought they were at their loudest - based on your suggestion I tried it again and got it right! It works beautifully! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
