Default 8700 Series Demographics... Who are you?

Please Login to Remove!

I saw a post similar to this on the Pearl message board and it got me thinking, who is using the 8700 series, and what do you do? I'll be honest, I do not need a BlackBerry, I'm a gadget freak. Sue me

I do need for email purposes (and phone of course) but it's also a great gadget. I've heard BBs jokingly called, 'home wrecking devices' which I thought was cute cause my husband is constantly telling me, 'you're always on that thing!' LOL

My 8703e suits my needs perfectly. I get my Email every day on the go which is good for my Union position, and I have a very reliable phone that serves both my duties beautifully. Would love an improvement in the quality of software available for the BB....it's only shortcoming.

Occupation: Healthcare IT consultant--I travel every week.
I don't know that I "needed" mine when I got it (May of '06) but since then, I have found enough uses to more than justify my purchase. My wife has a similar job and the same BB with the same carrier (see .sig).

I love my BB because I have everything I need right there. PIM, Phone, Email. Plus unlike my predecessors (Windows Mobile), I rarely do a soft reset, never hard reset. Life is easier with a BB
