Time to upgrade from Curve 8330. On Verizon's website I've compared the Bold and the Tour. The Bold is marked "New". Does anyone out there have an opinion of one over the other?

Of course, I'll go down to the store and "feel" the devices. Just looking for opinions!

Bold has WiFi, Tour doesn't.
Trackpad is better than trackball.
Bold > Tour.

Yes. The 9650 is far superior to 9630. The trackball on the 9630 was a problem for many. I have used both phones.

Same here, through Sprint.
Wifi, trackpad, and more memory...
Trackball jammed up a few times, and while easy enough to fix on your own, the trackpad doesn't jam at all.
Did I mention Wifi? I live in the boonies in upstate NY, and my 3G signal is hit or miss. With Wifi, I might not be able to make crystal clear phonecalls, but I can get on the internet.

Why Bold is more popular than the Tour, since the Tour has its own advantage ?
The Tour can have different network - GSM & CDMA

The Bold (9650) has this ability also.

Same with the Bold 9650.
Same form factor, but the 9650 has a trackpad vs trackball, and wifi. Also the ability to run OS6 when released.
The Bold 9650 is superior with regards to those aspects.
