Default gmail app not showing up on tour

Please Login to Remove!

hey all,

i got a tour for christmas for an early college graduation present, running on sprint.

my college uses gmail for its mail system, and i actively use the gmail labeling features. HOWEVER, despite the fact that every single time i've set up my account i get the gmail app "confirmation" email, no gmail type settings or apps appear on my phone; the messages are in that yucky standard blackberry setting.

when i go into my applications folder under advances options, the gmail is installed.

how do i activate it so that all my messages are "gmail" rather than "blackberry" style?

thanks!

You loaded with http://google.com/mail?

If so, look in your downloads folder which is on your home screen

nothing in the downloads folder. just can see it when i access the "applications" to delete something.

edit: should also mention that, when i try to reinstall, i am reminded that i already have gmail installed on my bb.

Click menu-show all and look at home screen. If not there, look in all folders. If not there, reinstall again which will overwrite the item.
