Hi Guys newbie here in need of some help please.

We have a blackberry curve 8310 that we use purely as an emergency phone so we only actually want it to ring when the voicemail rings us.

I cant seem to find a way of muting the ringtones for every incoming call apart from when 121 rings me.

Can anyone help as this will save me a lot of sleepless nights.

I do not know of a way to do that. Doesn't mean it can't be done though.

One way I can think of is an app called icallmanager light. You can blacklist all calls but 121. Hope this helps

I thought voicemail used the SMS profile. Isn't that true? Thus, put phone and other profile on mute and set SMS as desired? Unless I totally misunderstand.

:( tried this didnt work. Everything comes through as silent.

Oh well, maybe it is a tmobile thing. Definitely it appears it isn't universal.
