Darn, looks like tmobile customers will have to wait a little longer because it seems like AT$T will get it first, and I aint switching my network.

"There's also 128MB flash memory and 1GB of onboard memory, which is all supplemented by the microSD/SDHC expansion slot (supports up to 16GB cards)."

"As for multimedia, the smartphone is equipped with a 2-megapixel camera with video-recording capabilities and up to 5X zoom."

Should we expect using offline map with BB map now since it has 1GB memory? Wow, so excited.

ohhh man i'm sooo happy that its not going to cost around 800-1000 like previously rumored... even at 600 for full price i'm still sold... i'm going to be at the nearest rogers store the day of release with them ohhh sooooo damn excited!!!

i say what another 1-2 months before its official released by rogers... to bad they wont confirm that... looks like i will be bugging my contacts at Rogers to get a release date out of them

EDIT:

yup i can see how busy we unlockers are going to be in a few months...

it was discussed to death that the 800-1000 is an MSRP not the actual full price. carriers set whatever price they want

good battery life on it too. looks like the iPhone 2 better be a hell of a lot more than the 3G version of the first. RIM really needs a real program to work on the MAC PCs, as well as Linux. the 2mp camera is a bit disappointing though.

yea i was hoping for at least a 3.2MP for the camera but i so dont care, the device is awesome... who uses the camera all the time? it is nice for those "crap i wish i could take a picture of this" moments...

as for the battery life, its ok... only real world testing will prove how it really is... but i'm sure seidio will come up with an expanded battery soon after release which will help... i believe they (RIM) were saying that the Battery is 1500mAvh (i think) so i'm sure seidio will most likely release like 1800 or close to 2000 that would be nice and last longer
