Default So I took the plunge ... 4.5.0.37

Please Login to Remove!

So,

After fighting the urge to load up the latest beta on my 8310 I figured .37 was a high enough number I would give it a try.

It has been about two hours sicne I loaded it up (took about 1.5 hours to load) and it works great. It feels much faster than the official release I had been running.

The new browser is awesome, and YOUTUBE WORKS!!!!!!

I thought that I had read youtube was a server side upgrade, but it works ... does this mean AT&T has already upgraded their infrastructure?

All I can say is after two hours its a keeper.

...unitl you try a few times to type in a text box in the browser and click send. Quite a problem for many users.

But otherwise, yes

also bb messenger resets your contacts after every reboot so that needs fixing.
My radio still goes flaky once in a while.
Solve those and seems gold to me.

sometimes i can type in a box, sometimes not.

other than that I haven't really found anything that would make it not a keeper...

if you move the mouse over a text box without stopping on it, you can't go back and type in it. Same with a "send" icon on a website: if you move the mouse across it without clicking it, once you move the mouse back over it, you can't click it.

sorry if i didn't explain that very well...

skottema, same thing here. The trick is not to pass the cursor below the "send" link. Another solution is to disable "cursor in column view" in the Browser > Options > General Properties.

you have to disable the use of cursor under column view to fix the browser texting issue under browser general config.
