Default Have Motorola HS810, want louder, quieter - suggestions?

Have 7100t, and got a Motorola HS810. I like it in general and it works perfectly with the device in terms of function.

However, it has two problems, and I wonder if people with experience in both it and others might comments.

First is poor volume. I almost always have it (and the 7100t) at full volume. It's fine inside (I even turn it down sometimes) but in any noisey room (e.g. computer room) it is too quiet.

Second is wind noise. Even with little wind, just walking around outside seems to make for wind tunnel effects.

I've been looking at the MD3500 that claims better noise signal processing. Is it better?

Other choices people prefer to the HS8100?

I have tried HS850 and BT800 and I can hear BT800 a little better but in anything but quiet conditions the party on the other end complains that my speach is breaking up or the background noise is too high and they have trouble hearing me. What makes it difficult to evaluate is that my end sounds ok.

Well sell a lot of HS810, and they are good headsets. Probably the best in terms of value.

Our tests show that the Plantronics m3500 wins the noise cancelling contest. It's earpiece volume is good but I cannot say that it is louder than the HS 810.

We will be testing the BT800 against the M3500 next week - maybe the 3500 will lose its crown.

When people speak of "noise canceling" are they refering to what the user hears, or what the person on the other end hears?

The Sony-Ericsson Akona HBH 300 has good noise control technology, including a longer than average boom. I had a Moto 810 prior, however, I don't think the HDH 300's earpiece volume is significantly different from the 810

That refers to what the other end hears.
