Default Uninstalling 3rd party applications

Please Login to Remove!

I downloaded a utility from Utube to watch videos and a utility for google maps. I don't like them and would like to take them off. I did a search on how to do it and it says to go to the icon and then you will have the option to uninstall or remove. I can not find the icons from the main screen. Any suggestions.

You should have an Options icon. (If you've hidden it, you can show it by clicking the bb button and selecting Show All.)

Options > Advanced Options > Applications. Highlight the application (but don't click), press the bb button, and select Delete.

Thanks guys. I was able to delete it that way. One other thing if I may ask. when I was at Verizon a week or so ago my Storm was running slow. The guy there showed me a way to speed it up by going to the options page and then in one of the links you could click on a link that did a bunch of tests and reset everything. I didn't write it down.

No.
Memory Cleaning does NOT increase the performance of the device.
If anything, it will slow it down.

It's under 'Security Options' because it's a security feature. It's not a maintenance task.
