Please Login to Remove!
Says the full touch BB10 device in March with the QWERTY version before June.
QWERTY BlackBerry 10 phone will launch before June | Mobile - CNET News
I put it in rumors as I haven't seen this anywhere else yet.

Count me in with this reported group
"...the still faithful existing BlackBerry customers who prefer the tactile sensation of actual keys." I sure hope getting bumped to the end of the line on these roll outs doesn't mean June or afterwards.

Re: QWERTY BB10 device - before June 2013
I currently have a Torch 9810 and *love* it. I am a business executive; ability to immediately receive and send e-mails (true e-mails, not slang-infested e-mails or text messages). I have fat fingers, need a keyboard and have real problems with, say, my iPod Touch. If RIM doesn't offer a keyboard model, I'll switch to the iPhone. At least then I'll have more and better apps to choose from and the ability to buy a 3rd party keyboard.

You'll have a lot more options to choose different types of keyboard in android than ios. Also, I have big fingers and the narrow iphone doesn't do it for me like the S3 or Note 2. I finally settled on the Note 2 and just love this thing. I also have a 4S and it's now reduced to a music player. Still using the 9900 also.

Re: QWERTY BB10 device - before June 2013
Yes, a physical keyboard, but no pointing device. Keyboard is great, pointing device is awesome. Ever try to select text while driving on an iphone or android? Suicide. I give RIM another 6 months.

Re: QWERTY BB10 device - before June 2013
Any type of texting while driving on any phone is suicide and in some states a big fine if caught.

Driving and texting is a path to destruction. Not smart in any respect.
Selecting text on the PlayBook is easy once you get how; no pointing device needed.

Re: QWERTY BB10 device - before June 2013
RIM has bet the farm on BB10. I don't think there's any going back after this. Either it works and brings RIM back to relevance with the consumer or we're probably looking at a buyout by Microsoft, mostly for the patents and enterprise customer base.

Could be. That would be cruel though, comming from BB.
I have to say that I've started testing and modifying my applications for the Dev Alpha C. It is quite a bit easier than I expected. Even an application that I never intended to support on other than the Z10 should be easy to move. Unlike the old days it is quite easy to support both devices with one code base.
