+1 Completely agree I can't believe RIM did this to their flagship BB. Smaller screen and keyboard really that's supposed to be an improvement?

Hey I have 8320 curve and have a plm with hourglass continous pop out. Time for me to buy Bold and I went to A and AT playing with both BOLD 9000 and 9700. I already knew I love 9000 and looks neat and beautiful. It is bigger is what I want. I m used to curve but 9700 seems smaller THAN CURVE. Forget it. I ordered 9000 and cant wait to get and play freak freak all dayyyyy. Hurrry BOld, call you to fly over here.. come on... YAYYYY

Actually I always wanted Bold 9000 last year but I have curve and wait for it to break or not working. When I heard 9700 came out and I was excited and thought it would be much better than 9000 but not! i still love Bold design as well.

I would prefer the 9000 over the 9700 because of the keyboard.
But, the 9000 is dead because of the lack of memory.
Just install OS 5.0.x and there will be left just 20MB free after an installation as small as possible.

Unless rim can trim its OS for 128MB of Ram the Bold is useless, now, that 5.0 is released.

My cousin recently got the Bold 9700. I compared my 9000 with it and saw that, as others have said, the 9000 keyboard is much better. But when I went to check the app memory, it said there 128 mb left. That is enough alone for me to change to a 9700. Luckily I have smaller fingers so it would be easier to use the keyboard. But either way, you would get used to the keyboard, so it doesn't matter.
