I just unlocked my Blackberry so I can use it on the Orange netowrk where I live. I was told by Bongowireless that the data piece of my Blackberry won't work if Orange doesn't support Blackberry. So far I can't connect as they said. I called Kevin at Bongowireless and he said there may be a third party solution out there that will allow my to access my emails using POP3 and the Orange network. Does anyone know of a solution like this?

If Orange doesn't support BlackBerrys then you are out of luck. Sorry. You must have the blackBerry Data Plan on your account/SIM to do anything on the BB besides voice and SMS.

Sorry for the multiple posts (i just did another) this is my first time using a forum and I am trying to figure out where I am supposed to post my questions. I figured that I just put them in the wrong spot.

I looked at the Orange site in France and they sell the BB7290 in France (not in DR) so I thought maybe their system accepts BB. Anyway Kevin at Bongwireless thought there was a solution out there.

I saw Mark Rejhon string about setting APN and thought also that would work?
