I have two exchange servers.

One is an Exchange 2007 server sp1 - Head office
Second is an Exchange 2003 server sp2 - Branch Office

They physically located in different offices in different cities.

I have a BES 4.1.4.15 running on a dedicated Windows 2003 server sp2 at the head office where Exchange 2007 server is located.

All the servers belong to the same domain.

The blackberry users hosted on the Exchange 2007 server receive their mail , calendar etc correctly on their BBs.all ok

I have two BB users on the Exchange 2003 server.

I have added the 2 Exchange 2003 users on the BES server and setup enterprise activation.

I am not able to activate. The erp.dat file is received in their mailboxes and just stays there.
Also when i attempt to open their folder redirection properties on the BES manager it sayd MAPI does not have sufficient privileges. I have readded them multiple times, wiped the handheld, checked BESadmin delegate righst , send as rights , view exchange store righst all are correct.

To confirm BESadmin has acces to their mailbox, i have setup outlook profile on a pc, logged on to as besadmin outlook profile. Then 'from' the from filed i have used the user1 name from GAL and sent test emails out it goes and reaches the recepients confirming besadmin can send as email as the user1. i have tested for user2 also works.

When I move these two mailboxes to the Exchange 2007 server BB works activates etc...

When they are on the Exchange 2003 server it does not work activate etc... they need to be on the Exchange 2003 server.


Please advice i am tearing my skin out

Have you checked the permissions at the server level?
