hi

new on here so be patient with me.

i just been given a 8900 curve of my brother, it was on orange,
i have unlocked it.

i now want to use it on o2 pay as you go?

i have tried a number of sims(o2, tmobile, virgin) all appear to work ok, carrier name comes up on screen etc, but when you make a call it comes up with the message "call failure".
also it wont send sms.

any help would be much apprecaited

Is it properly activated with your carrier?

Are you sure that it is unlocked?

how can i tell if its properly unlocked?
i havent activated the sim yet could that be the problem?

Of course.
If the SIM isn't activated it cannot be used till it is activated.

Hello, I have one issue also after unlocking the 8900 device

Now when I install APP WORLD I get a message that it is not available in my country, but I know it is, I had it before

Anyone?! Maybe it is only to the version of device software?
