Default Suretype guesses? or type out the whole word?

Please Login to Remove!

On my razr, the predictive text had a feature so that as I was typing a word, it would come up with guesses... then I could easily click right and it would select that work without having to type out the whole thing.

Is there a similar feature on the blackberry (i'm on the pearl)? So that I don't have to type out each letter of the word? TIA!

Yes, there is a similar feature. (Or the same feature depending on how critical you want to be I guess.)
I like the sure type on the Pearl as it seems to be a bit adaptive. I usually type out strange words and/or acronyms daily. It seems that the Pearl has learned these and pulls them out rather quickly.

I'm really liking it. Hope that helps.

Default how do I use it?

I don't see where it shows the word suggestions? For example... if I type 'sugg'...... it doesn't finish the word? like it won't show 'estions' at the end?

Correct. It doesn't fill out the word like T9. It simply predicts the whole word based on key strokes. You have to type the whole word, but the trick is to watch the keys, not the screen. Watching the screen will hang you up big-time.

Suretype is not "predictive" typing... two different things.

Once I applied a little patience I found SureType to be terrific!

Cheers.
