i have a blackberry 7100g and it will not charge with my home charger. When I plug it in the lightning bolt appears and then disappears in a few seconds. I bought cheap new charger but it still won't work. It will however charge with my usb cable and car chargers... Is this reason to beleive that the charger or the phone is bad... I have no idea... any imput will be great thanks....

Well......if the phone charges with the usb or the VPC then the phone must be good. I would take a guess and say that the home charger is bad

I just bought my 7290 on Blackberry on eBay. Seller said it would charge with the USB which it did until I unlocked the AT&T and inserted my Cingular SIM card. Then it stopped charging with the USB. I get the lightening bolt when I first plug in the charger (also the generic kind), but then it disappears and phone is obviously not charging. Bummer!
