Default Run with Blackberry

I recently ran a half marathon with my blackberry in my pocket.

Any cases available, where I may be able to strap the device to my arm or somewhere?

I've seen lots of those armband straps for iPods. There are probably some that would work for the Blackberry. eBay is one place to look.

This one works perfect with the curve, looks like it will fit the 8800's

Thank you. Ideally,I was hoping they will come out with something where you can use the device while strapped on my arm. The same manner you would have with an ipod.

There's one made by Bodyglove for the Pearl...

B O D Y G L O V E | 2 0 0 7

Played w/it in the store. Fits quite nicely, allows access to all ports.

Oh - Best Buy carries them. You should be able to see one in person there...

I have a silicon armband case for an ipod video .. I had to cut the front a little bit to allow access to the trackball, but the keyboard is hidden. I also had to stab a hole in the side so that i can plug my head phones in also .. It's jimmy rigged, but it works.

You might be able to get one of those seido or i think fortte rubber cases (i think those are the companies that make them) and cut 2 slits in the back of equal length, and run a velcro band through it to strap to your arm. That way you have full access to your keyboard and headset jack.

this is for the 83xx models only though.

What's up with the no headphone ban?

Dlgus,
I am not sure of the context of your question but most races do not allow headphones for safety reasons. Enforcement is another issue.

I bought one through the Verizon Store. Despite what the paperwork said, it was too tight for my 8830 and the arm band was flimsy. Thumbs down for me
