Default 3rd Party Weather app question

Please Login to Remove!

I am looking for an application for both my 8130 and 8330 (both running 4.5) for weather. I do not want anything complicated, just a current conditions and like 5 day forecast for my local area (not so much of a traveler...)

I would like something that works like the sidebar in Windows Vista, and maybe shows up on my home screen? I'm using a storm-style today plus theme. I know this is really stretching it wanting this, so any suggestions for an app I have to open are more than welcome too!

Thanks for anyone's input in advanced!

BBWeather, WeatherEye, WeatherBug Direct.

I prefer WeatherBug Direct because I get servere weather alerts.

Tateu has taken the BBWeather app and really made it nice - added a lot of basic features, and some "nice to have"s... the link is in the Aftermarket Software forum... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Thanks so much for the input guys! I think I'm going to try BBWeather and WeatherBug Direct both. Can't tell which one I'll like better...I'll update.

YWeather! Is also a great, simple application.

Agree with this. BBWeather is great and the developer keeps adding features based on feedback from the forum. He is doing a great job with it.

BBWeather is my favorite. It's free and a small, simple app. However, if you don't mind a monthly fee, MyCast (I think Garmin owns it now) is pretty nice. The last time I used it, it had current conditions, forecast, severe weather alerts, and animated radar. I think it runs 4 or 5 dollars a month.
