Default "deleted items" folder always empty

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

We have BES setup for our users and bb8707g
Version 4.1

Reconciliation is on.

When a user deletes a message from the device, it is deleted in the desktop accordingly.

However, "view folder" > "deleted items" on the blackberry is always empty.

Some of us want to be able to go back and check previously deleted items without being able to.

Any idea what setting needs changing, or what the reason is.

Thanks

Sorry, but you can not restore deleted items from the BlackBerry. Honestly, I don't understand why there is a deleted items folder since we cant do anything with it.

i pretty sure if you have deleted items checked for redirection you will be able to see emails you delete from outlook on the blackberry.

I file items in Deleted Items because I don't have Delete on Both enabled (I don't keep the same messages in both places). It's a little bit of trouble as I have to remember to go and empty Deleted Items on the handheld from time to time but at least I don't have to delete items in Outlook.

I'm new at this so please help me understand. I have an 8703e from Verizon and everything is working great. I have everything reconciling fine (deleted items, etc). However, are you saying that there's no way at all to view my "Deleted Items" folder on the BlackBerry? As one person pointed out, there is a "Deleted Items" folder on the BB but it's always empty.

When I go to "Redirector Settings" on the desktop software right now I have "Folder redirection" set to "Inbox and Sent Items only". If I try to "Choose Folders..." I can not see "Deleted Items" as one of the options.

Thank you.
