Default Could RIM make a web page so a BB HH can tell if it is provisioned correclty?

Wouldn't this just end all the night mares and confusion?

I hope some one out there might hear this.

OMG, that would be great. The hours saved having to first contact the provider, to be blown off to then have to contact RIM to discover that the provider has changed or in some way screwed the configuration so that it won't work with BES. Something along the lines of the automated DSL test for your home Internet connection.

Wirelessly posted (TMO 8120 4.5.0.52)

That would become one of my favorite websites!

I do believe at WES one of the BES 5.0 sessions said you will be able to tell how the device is provisioned.

This would be wonderful. I've had 2 devices this week that were not provisioned with an enterprise plan. Fortunately I we have T-Support and I can just call them and they can check for me, but a website would be that much faster.

Would be nice to tell user to goto Blackberry.dataplan.com on their phone and see the result. That would be sweet and end lot of wasted time.

Wow what a life saver. I think someone should take this to RIM and *push* *push* and *push* to get this. Someone that has Tx4 or higher would be nice, that way RIM has to hear you...

Maybe everyone should submit this suggestion to [email address].
I have done so. Maybe if they get enough emails they might act on it.

Still listening to sessions (exhausting).

jletendre - I'm listening to one of them and it sounds like you asked a question in one about certs in 5.0. If you did, is this the session you recall hearing this in?

Voted No: You can already see Enterprise Activation status from the device. I must have missed something as I'm the only one who has voted no

Oh: It seems you want to know if the SIM is enterprise enabled, not the Handheld itself. In which case, I would probably vote Yes.

So far, I haven't found the topic that jletendre was talking about. I could have missed it since I've been multitasking while listening, but I didn't see it in the slides anywhere.

rasobey - Correct, the poll was regarding whether the device is provisioned properly for BES connectivity.
