Default The alarm clock

Any reason why BB alarms cannot be set for a specific time for each day of the week as my ancient Iphone 3G used to do?

Is there some fix for this omission, other than buying a newer phone?

I don't like the return key being the "send" button for texts either; too easy to press it by mistake when still typing. Any solution for that?

although your phone is older than dirt you may try downloading an App from the blackberry appworld site.

all "newer" blackberry's do have the ability to set the date and time including reoccurrence.

If the phone does not have the latest OS for the 8700r you might do an update.

Thank you! Actually I'm using a 9900 Bold Touch rather than the 8700r - just need to update my profile!

Ok different phone and OS level. Go to Blackberry.com and pull the user guide for your phone and you will see how to set the alarm to re-occur when you want it.
