Hello,

I'm new in this forum, I have been reading a few things regrading upgrade, but I still have questions regarding the OS upgrade..

The reason why I wish to update to 4.5 OS is that the last OS comes with some kind of "document to go" software which allows to receive attachments and copy them from BB to a PC

I'm presently using a French BB8310 from bouygtel with a French keyboard (azerty). I do not find from my provider an update to 4.5 OS. I do find one from Proximus (Belgium provider, which I guess is in French and can accommodate the azerty keyboard).

My question is what will happen if the found OS from proximus (8310M_PBr4.5.0_rel81_PL2.7.0.68_A4.5.0.55_Vodafon e_Belgium.exe) did not accommodate with the azerty keyboard?
Is it an option to come back to original OS or only upgrade is possible?

I do not find clue on those questions. So if someone can help by answering or indicating where answers are hidden (hidden because I did not find them!!)

The software doesn't provide the keyboard layout, the circuitboard does, this isn't changeable with software, so there wont be any problem upgrading.

@OP: The keyboard is a physical trait of the BB, not software related. Just update to OS 4.5.0.174/4.5.0.124 at the top of this forum. It is the most stable release yet.

I have gone through with no major problem.
Works just fine and now I manage to download attachment to the BB, which is exactly what I was looking for.
