I have had a few problems since upgrade yesterday morning. Last night I got a white screen 405 error. Battery pull corrected the issue. I then had a hard time keeping 3g locked. Never had this problem. I couldn't get off Edge until I did another battery pull. No problems since.

For the thumbnail issue, try deleting the thumbs.db file from the pictures directory and re-boot. I've always had issues with the number of files I have on the media card (over 2000) and the indexing between releases of OS. Deleting the thumbs.db from all directories and letting the BB rebuild the indexes always solves the speed issues for me.

I had the Windows LIVE Search issue as well. Deleted it and did a re-install. Still can't get it to start. Looks like something broke on this one. No worries for me as I have a number of other search/map tools.

Default Rapidshare

Aloha,

It seems rapidshare is blocking the file 4.6.0.190 from being downloaded. Is there are other way to get it?

Aloha, no, there is not

You have the resources you stated. It is a BETA OS, and we don't post links here to it until a carrier has released if officially for use.

I am loving .190 so far. For me the battery life has gone way up. I installed it about 45 hours ago. I have not put my battery on to charge since and I still have 50% (just checked).

I am using Wifi (on all the time and connected 90% of the time) and the 3g as well as my normal phone calls.

It seems faster as well.

Wirelessly posted (Mandizzle's Bold 9000)

^ just google 4.6.0.190 and you should have no problem finding it.

Been using .190 for a couple days now and it's definitely a huge upgrade over .168. Battery lasts a whole lot longer and I seem to ALWAYS be in 3G. Like others have also mentioned the browser for me seems a lot faster and just the overall performance as a whole seems increased.

Still being blocked by rapidshare as containing possible illegal content. I googled and cannot find anywhere to get it.
I am running 4.6.0.185 (last official OS). Most on this post seem to have updated from .168 and say hugh improvement. Any comparison with .185? However it may be moot if .190 is now unavailable.

Using .190 for couple of days.

Everything is working great.

Battery life has improved a lot. Goes for 2days + without a recharge.

Excellent OS till today.

I have a question once the 190 OS has been installed is it necessary to pull the battery and do a hard reset, or is it ready to be used?

my memory-leak is bigger than in .168.
All other functions are working great.
But there are some errors in the german translation e.g. instaed of "antworten" (reply) now there is written "annehmen" (accept).

Enjoying .190 for a couple of days now - great OS! Battery life is much better now!
Noticed also changes in the german edition, including spelling mistakes.

Yes.

It's better to do a hard reset after every OS upgrade.

i've got the "405 error" too (twice in the last 3 days). Battery pull resoved it but the first error was a heart stopper!

Default DM 4.7 released today - no longer Beta - Your Bold will thank you.

Just to make things much more interesting: It's not "beta" anymore but you can get your own official copy of new DM 4.7 if you wish?

Easiest way is to click the "check for updates" on your own DM screen but you can also find it here: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...93E4F3BB068C22

It's really quite hefty at nearly 300mb for multi-language with Media Manager

I am connected to 3 BES's as well as 3 BIS accounts. I have separate notifications for each one of them. When I upgraded to .190, my phone notifications can be set for the 1st 2 BES accts, then the remaining profiles all use the same notifications. If I change one, the others change as well.

When I go back to .172, I can set all the profiles to individual phone ringtones. Other than that, everything else works great. I even get longer battery life.
